New Song Dodger

We considered both a hard and soft dodger, in the end we decided on the soft dodger. We still wanted the best visibility we could get so we made it with polycarbonate widows. I am very pleased with how clear they are.

The project started with bending new frames. Our old frames were thin wall, 7/8 tubing and not very stiff. they also had much tighter bends in the corners. The polycarbonate has a fairly large minimum bend radius so it all got reworked. The new frame is 1”, .083 wall 316ss.

The dodger is made from Sunbrella with leather chafe protection.
